The Kansas Credit Union Association was established in 1934 to promote the welfare and interests of all credit unions and to provide assistance in the functions and services offered. Acting on behalf of credit unions to ensure smooth business operations, KCUA performs services with the best interest in mind for the common benefit of all member credit unions. Our mission is to assist member credit unions in meeting their needs and the needs of their members and potential members to further the success of the credit union movement. By promoting the philosophies of democratic control and people helping people, KCUA creates a foundation of support for the credit union cooperative system. Developing and maintaining favorable legislation and regulation for credit unions, continuing educational opportunities, and a healthy growth strategy are all part of KCUA and equally important to all credit unions in Kansas and across the nation.
